Warehouse Auditor

 

Position Summary:

 

Provide high quality audits to insure  region specific customer service on all Supply and Logistic issues supporting Regional VP’s, VP Operations, VP Merchandising, District Managers, Merchandisers, Store Management, and Supply and Logistic Management internal and external. Employ a variety of problem-solving techniques within established standards to achieve resolution; escalate issues that require immediate attention from Supply and Logistic Management.  Build a strong communication link between Stores and Supply and Logistics with store visits and meetings to discuss issues and concerns of our customer.

 

 

Key Accountabilities:

                  

  • Conduct random pallet checks anywhere in the warehouse for pallet discrepancies
  • Conduct random checks of completed pallets for mis-selects, overages, and shortages before being loaded on the trailer for delivery         
  • Complete order audit:

After an order has been selected, loaded and the trailer sealed, it is brought back into another door, opened and checked for shorts, overages and mis-selects. All discrepancies are then written-up and verified by warehouse management for the purpose of correcting the problems and so disciplinary action can be given if necessary to the selectors or loaders involved.

  • Comply with all Retail Support Center safety standards and maintain a safe work record
  • Maintain a professional relationship with all associates. This position will require the Auditor to evaluate RSC associates on job performance and report those findings to Loss Prevention Management. Therefore, the individual must not show favoritism to any associate 
  • Ability to read and understand the selecting label and knowledge of the selecting process
  • Must have good oral and written skill and have the ability to communicate well
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule. Day’s, nights and weekends may be required
  • Ability to lift cases weighing up to 90 lbs and work in an environment with ambient temperatures ranging from 28 to 90 degrees
  • May be required to assist with conducting an inventory
  • Ability to operate a compactor/bailer
  • Must possess a driver license and reliable transportation
  • May be required to travel to stores to conduct a random store audits. This function is to check to accuracy of the load when it arrives at the store against what the store is being charged

       

                     

 

Auditor Procedures

  • Select pallet(s) to be audited, targeting new hires and problem Selectors
  • Transport pallet to the Audit work area (under camera observation)
  • Prepare slip to attach to clipboard on door to alert Loaders of pallet location
  • Remove (1) case at a time from the pallet and compare the item to the work order to assure accuracy in brand, flavor, size and quantity
  • Compare item to the ticket attached to the case by the selector, to assure accuracy
  • Stack the removed case onto a new pallet to assure the selected pallet is completely audited
  • The Auditor must log each Selector along with the store #, Pallet#, number of cases audited, any errors and the time it took to audit the Selector on a LP Store Audit Report
  • If any errors are discovered the Auditor must prepare a Selector Error Report at the time the Auditor has completed the Selector’s pallet. The Auditor must indicate the Selectors name, time, date of audit, the pallet information along with the product code, # of cases on the bill and the number of cases selected
  • The Load Audit Report must be presented to a Supervisor immediately, so the Supervisor may take proper action against the Selector to alert them of the error
  • Upon completion of the audit, the Auditor will return the pallet(s) to the proper door where it was removed from and alert the Loader that it is completed
  • At the completion of the shift, the Auditor will calculate the total of cases audited for the day, pieces over, short or mis-selected on the LP Store Audit Report and the report will be turned into the Loss Prevention Manager
  • It is the responsibility of the Auditor to document the totals of the day on the board in the conference room of the warehouse at the end of each shift

  • Ability to learn at a very fast and intense pace
